Children Under the Age of 13
The Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Platform or on or through any of its features, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.
At SoClose we care about your privacy. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent. We do not disclose it to others except for the purpose of providing you with the services available on and through the Platform, meaning allowing you to buy and sell services, share the information you want to share on the Platform, pay for or receive products, post reviews with other features of the Platform.
We collect information that you provide us or voluntarily share with other users, and some general technical information that is automatically gathered by our systems or third-party service providers, such as IP address, browser information and cookies to enable you to have a better user experience and a more personalized browsing experience.
Information that you choose to publish on the Platform is not private, just like any information you publish online.
Technical information that is gathered by our systems, or third-party systems, automatically may be used for Platform operation, optimization, analytics, content promotion and enhancement of user experience. We may use your information to contact you – to provide notices related to your activities, provide general updates, or offer you promotions related to our services – but we will not let any other person, including sellers and buyers, contact you, other than through your user account. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not make any representations regarding interactions between sellers, customers, influencers and buyers through channels other than the Platform, including through social media channels that are subject to subscriptions on the Platform.
What Information Do We Collect?
When you register on the Platform we ask you to provide certain personal information, including a valid email address, username and/or social media profile name. We may collect additional information, such as physical address and additional authentication information, to provide you with the services you request (such as payment or withdrawal of funds or sending physical goods), or to ensure the Platform integrity (for example, prevention of fraud).
In addition, we collect information while you access, browse, view, or otherwise use the Platform. In other words, when you access the Platform we are aware of your usage of the Platform, and may gather, collect, and record the information relating to such usage, including geo-location information, IP address, device and connection information, browser information and web-log information. We may also collect supplemental information obtained from third parties such as demographic and navigation data.
Additionally, in order to improve your online experience at SoClose, we have implemented impression reporting. While you use the Platform, we may gather information such as Global Unique Identifier, http request data, user agent, IP Address, host, URL, the country or continent from which the request was made, browser information, device identifier, operating system, and operating system version.
How Do We Collect Information?
You directly provide us with most of the information we collect. You do this by filling out the registration details on the Platform, and by posting and sharing additional information voluntarily.
How Do We Use the Information Collected?
We use personal information only as appropriate to provide you with our services and for security purposes. For example, we may use the information collected from you to verify your identity. We may also use this information to establish and set up your account, verify or re-issue a password, log your activity, and contact you from time to time. The information helps us improve our services to you, customize your browsing experience, and inform you about additional products, services or promotions from SoClose that may be of interest to you. In addition, this information helps us track any fraudulent activities and other inappropriate activities and monitor Platform integrity.
Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties
We may combine your personal information with information we collect automatically or obtain from other companies and use it to improve and personalize our services, content and advertising. If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, you can opt-out through the link attached to each communication or by sending us an email.
We use third parties to host the Platform, operate the Platform features, and perform administrative, analytics, payment processing, and communications services. We may disclose your personal information to these companies so they can carry out these services. These companies are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential. We may use third-party analytics service providers and ad-serving platforms, which may set and access their own cookies, web beacons, or similar data collection tools. These parties may have access to information about your Platform usage, IP address, device ID, and geolocation information.
Cookies and Local Storage
You may set your browser to block all cookies, including cookies associated with our services, or to indicate when a cookie is being set by us. Information on deleting or controlling cookies is also available at www.aboutcookies.org (note that this website is not provided by SoClose, and we therefore cannot ensure its accuracy, completeness, or availability). It is important to remember that many of our services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled. For example, cookies may, in certain cases, save you from the need to enter usernames and passwords, and allow session continuity.
Use of Pixel Tags/Clear GIFs/Web Beacons
A pixel tag, also known as a clear GIF or web beacon, is an invisible tag placed on certain pages of our Platform but not on your computer. When you access these pages, pixel tags generate a generic notice of that visit. They usually work in conjunction with cookies, registering when a particular computer visits a particular page. If you turn off cookies, the pixel tag will simply detect an anonymous website visit.
Securing Your Information
We take appropriate security measures designed to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage, and processing practices, and introducing security measures, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
We restrict access to personal information to SoClose employees, service providers, and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Of course, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. IN NO EVENT WILL SOCLOSE OR ITS AFFILIATES , OR THEIR MANAGERS, MEMBERS, OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS, USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER VIRUS OR LINE OR SYSTEM FAILURE (INCLUDING LOSS PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, AND DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM INACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION OR INCONVENIENCE, DELAY, OR LOSS OF THE USE OF THE PLATFORM). THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS APPLY WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF SOCLOSE OR ITS AFFILIATES OR THEIR MANAGERS, MEMBERS, OR EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Your California Privacy Rights
The following section pertains to the rights of individuals or households in California (“California consumers”).
Civil Code Section 1798.83
Under certain circumstances, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 states that, upon receipt of a request by a California consumer, a business may be required to provide detailed information regarding how that business has shared that customer’s personal information with third parties for direct marking purposes. However, the foregoing does not apply to businesses like ours that do not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes without prior approval or give customers a free mechanism to opt out of having their personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Rights under the CCPA
Effective January 1, 2020, the CCPA (California Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq.) provides California consumers with additional rights regarding personal information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly with a particular consumer or household. The categories of personal information we collect are generally described above but differ for individual consumers depending on the Services used by such consumers.
Under the CCPA, qualifying California consumers may have the following rights:
Right to Know and Right to Delete
A California consumer has the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose and sell. A California consumer also has the right to submit requests to delete personal information.
When we receive a request to know or delete from a California consumer, we will confirm receipt of the request within 10 business days and provide information about how we will process the request, including our verification process. We will respond to such requests within 45 days.
Right for Disclosure of Information.
A California consumer may also submit requests that we disclose specific types or categories of personal information that we collect.
Under certain circumstances, we will not provide such information, including where the disclosure creates a substantial, articulable and unreasonable risk to the security of that personal information, customers’ account with us, or the security of our systems or networks. We also will not disclose California consumers’ social security numbers, driver’s license numbers or other government-issued identification numbers, financial account numbers, any health insurance or medical identification numbers, or account passwords and security questions and answers.
If you are a California consumer and would like to make any requests under the CCPA, please direct them as follows:

West Hollywood, California 90069
Email via support page at
If we receive any request, we will use a two-step process for online requests where the California consumer must first, clearly submit the request and then second, separately confirm the request. We will use other appropriate measures to verify requests received by mail or telephone.
In submitting a request, a California consumer must provide sufficient information to identify the consumer, such as name, e-mail address, home or work address, or other such information that is on record with us so that we can match such information to the personal information that we maintain. Do not provide social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, account numbers, credit or debit card numbers, medical information or health information with requests. If requests are unclear or submitted through means other than outlined above, we will provide the California consumer with specific directions on how to submit the request or remedy any deficiencies. If we cannot verify the identity of the requestor, we may deny the request.
